UK based MVNO, Tesco Telecoms has launched a new website that brings all its products and services into a single portal. Previously, the products were offered in separate areas within the supermarket's online retail website.

Pakistan's Wateen Telecom has doubled its WiMAX customer premises equipment (CPE) order with Motorola to 200,000 units for delivery by year-end. Motorola remains Wateen's exclusive WiMAX CPE and infrastructure supplier.

Mobile Norway, a joint venture between Network Norway and Tele2 has awarded a 3G network rollout contract to Ericsson. No further details were provided about the contract.

Singapore's StarHub has launched an MMS based daily news service with content provided by five Chinese newspapers. News updates will be delivered to subscribers via MMS according to a pre-set schedule, and will feature a condensed version of the day's top stories as well as other articles of interest.

Vodafone UK announced that it will start selling the Apple iPhone on January 14th 2010.

China Mobile says that its 3G subscriber base just missed the 3 million mark at the end of November. The operator recorded a total of 2,976,000 TD-SCDMA users in the month, out of a total base of 518 million customers.

Denmark's TDC has expanded its music download service to include music streaming to mobile phones and computers.
